New report (link to PDF), released April 13th, by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Europe on the economic and social impact of user-created content.
The report defines user created/generated content as:
- content made publicly available over the Internet
- which reflects a certain amount of creative effort, and
- which is created outside of professional routines and practices.
It is a little bit descriptive, but overall a great resource. Essential reading.
