Distributed Creativity conversation

Trebor Scholz, artist & assistant professor with the State University of New York at Buffalo, and founder of the Institute of Distributed Creativity (iDC) and I recently been emailing back and forth about the ethical implications for producers and consumers active in social networking contexts online.

We disagree, but agree that the work of both of us - his more from an activist perspective, mine from the view of the media professionals involved - is important in order to come up with a more holistic framework for ethical participation and action (both online and offline).

Trebor published our exchanges as a Q&A document on the iDC mailing list - the cool conversation continues, but any response or feedback is much appreciated!
